Dr. Plaskey is now welcoming new and returning patients to Arizona Foot and Ankle Physicians in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Dr. Plaskey began his journey in podiatric medicine by earning a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. He continued his education at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (formerly the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine), where he received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 2013.
Following medical school, Dr. Plaskey completed an intensive three-year podiatric medical and surgical residency at Beaumont Healthcare Hospital in Wayne, Michigan. His training included advanced conservative and surgical treatment methods for conditions such as diabetic foot complications, bunion and hammertoe deformities, neuromas, arthritis-related joint issues, foot and ankle fractures, flat foot reconstruction, and tendon disorders. He is also well-versed in minimally invasive office procedures, including nail avulsions, corticosteroid injections, orthotics, and bracing.
As a board-certified physician with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Dr. Plaskey is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the Arizona Podiatric Medical Association, and the American Podiatric Medical Association. He is licensed in both Arizona and Michigan and is affiliated with multiple hospitals and surgical centers across the Mesa and Thomas areas.
Dr. Plaskey is passionate about patient education and takes time to ensure that all questions are answered during every visit. His comprehensive approach makes him a trusted provider for patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric care.
