Dr. Hernaez was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. She graduated from Mount Assisi Academy High School in Lemont, Illinois; graduated from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign; graduated from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. She graduated from residency training in 1998, at Temple University, Philadelphia. She is Board Certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Dr. Hernaez lives in Sugar Land, Texas with husband and children.
