Douglas Hansen, DPM, received his Bachelor of Science in biological science from the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago. He continued his education at the university, where he earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Hansen then completed a three-year residency at Kingwood Medical Center, where he served as chief resident in his third year.

Board qualified in foot surgery, Dr. Hansen specializes in treating common foot issues, including heel pain, ingrown toenails, bunions and hammer toes. In addition, he cares for foot trauma, including flat foot correction, and reconstructive foot and ankle surgeries.
