Dr. Rushing is a devoted patient advocate, whose approaches center around both patient education and the latest evidence-based research at the Dallas Orthopedic and Shoulder Institute, located in Sunnyvale, Texas.

Dr. Rushing is a native Texan, who attended the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He received his DPM from Barry University in Miami Shores Florida, and graduated Valedictorian for the class of 2016. Dr. Rushing then completed a three-year Podiatric Medical and Surgical Residency, with the added credential of Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery, at Westside Regional Medical Center in Plantation, Florida. This was followed by an additional one-year fellowship in advanced reconstruction at the prestigious Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Center in Worthington, Ohio.
