Dr. Anna Christine Gurrera is the owner of Alpine Foot Specialists in Lake Zurich, Illinois where she has been practicing since 2012. She is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. She is highly trained in all aspects of surgical and non-surgical treatment of the foot and ankle. As a podiatrist, she treats patients of all ages for all foot and ankle conditions, however, has a special interest in treating athletes and correcting bunion deformities.

She is originally from Glenview, Illinois and is proud to be serving her community in the Northwest suburbs. After graduating high school, she enlisted in the United States Army. Through her training and travel, Dr. Gurrera gained valuable experience that helped prepare her for a professional career in podiatry. After returning home, she served the Army Reserve while attending the University of Illinois Chicago, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She obtained her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, IL. She then completed a comprehensive three year podiatric medical and surgical residency program at Rush University Medical Center and NorthShore University Health System. In her free time, Dr. Gurrera enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys as well as weight lifting, running, yoga, cycling, and traveling.
